Though wikipedia was special, water stopped.

1. Today I went to Ruislip. How exciting. I then returned with a copy of NME, The Clash - London Calling, Television - Marquee Moon and The Offspring - Smash on cassette. Brilliant.
2. On my way back I stopped off in Pro Music, where I didn' t do much at all. I did end up watching most of a Blur DVD though.
3. On my way home I bought some Milkybar Buttons. They aren't as nice as they used to be. I expected they have a new and unimproved recipe. Why is the original recipe always best?
4. The bus arrived too quickly. That was a shame. On the bus, my ipod ran out of batteries just as I was about to change from The Kinks to The Specials. Grrrr! Maybe the trusty cassette walkman is the way forward...
5. I was looking at the wikipedia page for Ickenham the other day and discovered that the most exciting thing about it was a water pump. I had never noticed this water pump before!! I saw it today anyway. No idea how I missed it! I've only been living around here for nearing 16 years...!

The words in my title were randomly selected by closing my eyes and pointing at words that I just typed. (Yes, I really am that bad at thinking of titles!)

Twickenham - Ickenham with a Tw.

1. I have actually never been to Twickenham. I just remembered I had a conversation I had with Jess a while back!
2. I am going to see Babyshambles at Wembley Arena on the 27th of November. Yay!
3. Today I managed to buy the limited edition Little Man Tate album, finally! Took me a while... Now I just need the vinyl copy...
4. I have just stuck together about 25 ice lolly sticks. In the process, I managed to super glue several of my fingers to the table, as well as several lolly sticks. In the end, all worked out well! Although I need about 12 more sticks...
5. I'm now tidying my computer desk and discovering all kinds of crap. A date stamper - normally used in libraries... A set square from a maths set... Green day confetti... An empty coin bag from the bank... And a think! Road Safety leaflet! Wonderful. Now what shall I do with all this stuff!?

River trips.

1. Today I have been in a river. I got very wet, although I didn't fall over. The water just went over my wellies.
2. My The Future Is Unwritten dvd came today. One of the free postcards has red ink splodges all over it. *grumbles*
3. I am the official myspace maker for Pete's bands myspace! I'll post a link when I've started and finished!
4. I played the harmonica in the river. By played I mean played a series of notes that sounded like a tune.
5. I finished my maths coursework. It was boring.

Snap, Crackle and Pop.

1. I can't think of anything to write about.
2. Today I sorted out my music folder. It is now very tidy.
3. I've bought yet more Little Man Tate stuff. I neeeeed a full collection!!
4. School is crap as usual. I can't be bothered to go in. 7 months to go.
5. Can I do my GCSE's now? Right now. At this very minute. (Well... Maybe I'll have something to eat first...)

Monday, 10 September 2007

Hats, beards and Ukulele's!

1. Today has been boring. So was yesterday. I havn't done much at all. But do I ever do anything?
2. Today I have listened to Little Man Tate, James, and Pete's band who are now called The Underground Rumblers! They seem to sound better with every rehearsal!
3. Yesterday I spent most of the day chucking a penny in the air, seeing how many times I could catch it in a row without dropping it. The answer was 12. I'll beat that in a few days time... I hope...
4. My music teacher thinks I should dress up as Pavarotti and play the Ukulele. This seems like a strangley good idea. I've always wanted to wear a hat and fake beard!
5. My music composition is improving. I don't hate it quite so much now. In fact I quite like it. I'll do more to it tommorrow. It has the best bassline in the world ever which really brings it alive!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

1. The year 7's are still causing problems... Grrrr. They might get the hang of walking in the end... I don't think they've ever been this bad before!
2. I'm sick of coursework. I wish we could do 100% exam... I always do worse on the coursework because I don't have the patience for it.
3. My geography folder gave me a papercut between my thumb and first finger. Pffft.
4. I'm still doing my music composition. I think I'm gonna start again.
5. At least I have the weekend to catch up with everything... It isn't good to be behind 3 days into the year is it?

Thursday, 6 September 2007

My happiness didn't last long...

1. Not such a good day today. We now have seating plans in several lessons...
I have to sit next to someone in Geography who is 100% a brick wall. You say something, and she dreamily says yeah or ignores me completely. Unless she wants something! Then she asks me what we have to do/asks what the answer is and so on. Very annoying. Today she couldn't even write down the defenition for 'Evaporation' when it was written right in front of her!!!
2. The year 7's are doing nothing but get in the way. Some idiot decided that it would be a good idea to give them a map... So they slowly walk through the corridor, staring at their map, not looking where their going. Then they suddenly stop. Sometimes they even drop their map, while their attempting to pick it up they cause a huge corridor blockage... Plus even with their maps they still keep asking everyone where everything is! We didn't need maps... Seen as their staring at their maps everywhere they go it seems that they will never know where their going!
3. I then spent 2 hours on computers. One hour attempting to get the programme to work in Music, where I was attempting to compose my ternary form piece. I would rather do it by hand. Although you can add 12 string guitars and banjo's on this programme... Then Food Tech coursework... There is a new version of Microsoft Word on the computers. I can't use it. Its awful. Back to notepad I go... Why can't we do things by hand? Stupidly we get marked down for presentation!!! Since when did what it looks like affect anything!? Surely as long as its readable it should be ok...
4. In Science we basically had a run through of the history of the periodic table... Boooooring!!!
I hate chemistry... I don't really get all of C4+CO6 = C10o stuff. There i nothing interesting about a formula... At least blowing things up, exploding test tubes and turning liquids weird colours is fun!!!
5. My Little Man Tate singles still havn't been dispatched. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
The single was released two weeks ago! Time to send another moany e-mail now I think...

School

1. School was alright really. Our new form tutors alright. Although he did go around the class asking us what options we took... Strange. On the downside he wears a black suit with brown shoes. Hmmmmmmm.
2. I had Science, RE, PE and Music today. First lesson was taken up by giving out timetables etc. Science was alright. RE was alright. Pe was boring. But better than actually doing PE. We sat and talked for an hour as no-one had their kit. Sadly the first thing we're doing is Aerobics. Do you think I can have an accident thats just bad enough for me not to have to do PE for the next half term?
3. In Music we did a mini test type thing to see if we actually remembered anything... We didn't actually mark it yet though... It had the most confusing answer sheet in the world, ever. It took me most of the lesson to figure out how to fill in the answers then about 10 minutes to write the answers in. Pffft!
4. After school we went to the hall to pick up the GCSE results for the exams we took at the end of year 10. I got an A in Science and an A for my Geography Decision Making Exercise!!!
I'm happy!!!! All A's next year will make me happier...
5. Hopefully tommorrow will be alright!

Tuesday, 4 September 2007

I'm jealous of the goldfsh bowl in which, my psychotic fish, floats all niiiight!

1. I go back to school tommorrow. Pfftt. At least we get rid of the green blouses this year...
Nothing green is left! Yay! I'll have a big moan tommorrow about my timetable. If I have PE last lesson on a Friday I will moan even more!!
2. Yesterday I made a lego house. I was that bored! It has an upstairs and a garage. Sadly it doesn't have a roof.
3. I also put all of Little Man Tate's demo's/live stuff/radio interviews onto CD's. There are 8 of them so far!
4. I also organised my guitar picks into order of thicknesses in a little box with different compartments. Surely this has to be something you do when your border than bored!!!
5. My Little Man Tate singles still havn't arrived. I'm not happy. The Living End are releasing all of their singles in the UK. I got them from Australia last year. I'm not happy with them either. Then The Pistols are gonna re-release one of their singles a week during October... Very Elvis... Oh well idiots like me will buy them...

Thursday, 30 August 2007

Camden and randomness.

1. I went out with Jenni today! We went to the London Eye for Neds Noodle Box and then to Camden. Jenni ate the noodles. I wasn't sure about them... Its impossible to be sure about them when Jenni's looked like this:

She tells me that their nicer than they look. I'm not sure that I agree!
2. After the noodles we went to Camden where we looked at diseases like Polio and TB made into soft toys!!! I kind of wanted to White Blood Cell. But it was £8.
3. I got 2 Lurkers CDs instead.
4. I'm still addicted to Yahtzee.
5. I'm tired.

Tuesday, 28 August 2007

Teletubbies come out and play...

1. We had a nutter on our doorstep this morning. She was bashing on our windows shouting help me in a rather hysterical voice! Odd. There was a man near her looking very embarressed saying calm down!! By the time my dad had opened the door, the man had got into a car and left the girl behind, and she ran down the road. Interesting...
2. I'm addicted to online Yahtzee. Oh no. Its the bubble game all over again. Although I'm still addicted to the bubble game... I hate these games... Keep them away from me!
3. My Mescaleros T-shirt arrived today. Its very orange!!! I stand out anyway.
4. I bought a kinder egg today. It had a very exciting toy with lots of pieces. I like to put these stupid things together while I walk. This gave me something to do. Last time I was walking I found a conker in its shelly thing and spent ages trying to get it out! I suceeded. But I don't know what to do with the conker.
5. I also helped a tourist find Hillingdon station. It appears that she got off there but couldn't remember where it was!!!!! I've met some very odd people today!!

Edit: Ahahahaha! On my latest playing of Yahtzee I got 3 Yahtzee's and a total of 515 points! Mwahaha!

Friday, 24 August 2007

Don't go near that window sill, there might be something on it!

Oh no. Not a good way to start the day.
I had a look at my window sill. And noticed a dead fly.
Of course it was in a difficult part of the window sill to get to so I had to move a few things that I have on there.
Behind a plastic box I find a dead moth and another dead fly.
I manage to get all three onto a postcard that someone sent me earlier in the week.
I put the postcard on the table (I wasn't sure what the dead moth was until I looked at it properly!)
I then began to open the window after spending a minute or two deciding wether to chuck them out the window or flush them down the toilet.
I look back at the table, which now has a maggot on it. Oh dear.
I decided to get rid of the moth and two flies before tackling that one.
Maggots are very hard to get onto postcards. I had to use a bit of paper which had the names of several Clash songs on and a few chords with capo 3 written above them. Very exciting.
The maggot was pushed onto the postcard and chucked out of the window. It landed on the outside ledgy bit. I pushed it off.
I think I'll avoid the garden for a day or two. I'm not sure how fast maggots move...

Bass clouds are clouds that are very low down.

1. I thought up a new bassline earlier. Wonderful. If only I could play it properly... My fingers move too fast for it!! I'll get it right eventually.
2. Isn't rain great? The downside to it is that it produces crap clouds. Most years, I become cloud obsessed and take photo after photo. This year I havn't seen a single impressive cloud.
3. The other day I managed to Tippex Joe Strummer onto my pencilcase using a stencil. It didn't go as badly as my other attempts. Something goes right for once!?!?!? Never!
4. Some stamps have good pictures on them.
5. I have also been listening to Pete's band, with the addition of a guitarist. Brilliant!
Sounding good!

Phones, Buses and Donna...

1. No-one actually knows when we go back to school for certain. Excellent. Lets not bother then!
Some people are saying the 3rd of September... Others the 5th... Hopefully its the 5th!
2. Yesterday I ended up buying a Gogol Bordello single, A very nice 7" picture disc of the Kaiser Chiefs and a Kinks album.
3. In the afternoon I went to Pro Music where Simon introduced me to a very nice little amp that I now want... (Remind me not to take very much money with me when I next visit!!)
4. I walked to Hillingdon Station. Then I got on a bus. All was good, until the stop just before Ryefield Avenue... At the bus stop was my most hated person in the world ever, Donna. The ipod was turned up. Donna was ignored. Although I had to stop myself from getting off at every stop. She's turned into even more of a chav! I wouldn't have thought that possible...
5. My phone is starting to die. (I await the day that it won't even switch on!) It never goes anywhere with me anyway. I don't like people being able to check on whatever I'm doing whenever they like, then get annoyed when I don't reply or pick up. I particularly hate the 'where are you?' question. Wherever I am, it won't be where they expect me to be...

Saturday, 18 August 2007

Lemon tree's are the way forward.

1. Today I discovered that I am crap at stencilling. I couldn't cut it out withou ripping off the fiddly bits! (Fuck the fiddly bits!!) It's possible to get Strummer quotes into any context!
2. On Tuesday I went to the big HMV in Oxford Street. I couldn't find anything I wanted to buy no matter how hard I tried! I must be ill.
3. The Debenhams restaurant put salad cream in my plain burger! There are no 4 foods that i Hate more than Cheese, Fish, Salad Cream and Mayonaisse! At least they got the no cheese bit right...
4. Today I ate the worst pie in living history. It was supposed to be minced beef and onion. It tasted of nothing. Well it was like nothingness with a hint of onion. It was disgusting.
5. Lemons are great.

Saturday, 11 August 2007

A week later...

Aaaaand I'm back!
With a mega blog list in front of me to type up...
Here it goooeees!

Saturday 4th
1. We drove to the ferry in Southampton and got on it. (Wow)
2. My Mum decides she wants to go to a lavender farm... Oh dear...
3. Everyone then drove me mad by asking me the same question millions of times. My mum kept asking me what I wanted for lunch, so I told her a sausage roll. 5 minutes later... What do you want for lunch? A pie? To which she got a reply of no, a sausage roll. This happened at least 5 times.
4. In the evening we played crazy golf. I won.
5. The Shanklin carnival was on... They played very loud, terrible music until 11pm... Grrr...

Sunday 5th
1. To quote the woman next door in the hotel who has two boys.
"You're doing my head in."
Yes, they were doing my head in too! As are the other two boys in the hotel... They spent the entire week screaming.
2. We saw five Llama's in a field today! Yay! Llama's rock!
3. Children suck.
4. We got given free fruit pastilles! Woo hoo! (These are possibly my favourite sweets!)
5. Hotel rooms are very boring. next time that boy speaks/screams the wall will be bashed...

Monday 6th
1. Today we went to a very big shop called Oasis. Boring. Somehow I think I prefer the band! The shop sells the most horrible looking gifts I have ever seen.
2. Why do fried breakfasts never taste as good as you imagine them tasting throughout the year?
3. My dad has now got fed up of my music in the car... Oh dear... He doesn't appear to like the noise of feedback either. Thats always been a noise that I've quite liked... In small amounts anyway!
4. Through the hotel wall, I could hear not only the woman that I don't like on the phone, but the person on the other end too! I could hear every word that both of them were saying! So annoying.
5. I won crazy golf! (Again) Woo hoo!

Tuesday 7th
I hate it when they put the authors photograph in books. Somehow it ruins the story.
2. I bought The Clash's first album on cassette today and a Sex Pistols tour programme from 2002! Woo hoo.
3. I have written my postcards in code!!! I wonder what their recipients will think of them...
4. I'm tempted to learn to play the Mandolin...
5. So far I have eaten soup daily!

Wednesday 8th
1. I hate the smell of lavender. Today we went to the lavender farm. Yuck...
2. We also went to a garlic farm... It was a very farmy day... Farms are generally too farmy.
3. I have celery soup for tea tonight... I don't like celery! I'm following on my eating soup daily thing! I'll be stuck when it has cheese or fish in it...
4. I have now posted my postcards.
5. We also visited the Penguins, Meerkats etc in a zoo. Shame that there wern't any Llama's...

Thursday 9th
1. I looked for some new converse. Mine are falling apart. Oh dear...
2. After failing with the converse I bought some Vinyl instead.
3. Yesterdays Celery soup tasted more like Chicken. Today I have Mushroom soup!
4. I won crazy golf. (Yet again!!!)
5. The Ukulele made its way downstairs...!

Friday 10th
1. I found a great CD in a charity shop today... By an Austrian band called Ausseer HardBradler! So fun!
2. I had Asparagus soup for tea. I completed a week of soup!!! I thought it tasted more like Sweetcorn.
3. We went to some place with Botanic gardens. Boring.
4. Everyone else saw Lizards. I couldn't... They were hiding from me...
5. I did something very strange in the afternoon... I fell asleep! I'm never able to sleep in the day time! Help me!

Saturday 11th.
1. We came home today. We stopped at a garden centre on the way to the ferry because we we're early. I bought a plastic lemon.
2. We got on the ferry - we we're first on! And first off! Woo hoo!
3. We got home. Our Cat Sitter has lost our keys... She has been climbing over the fence to feed them all week!!!!
4. My post was exciting. I had some Blur cassettes and Clash vinyl. Brilliant!
5. I have been bored ever since...

Friday, 3 August 2007

I finally have something to say!!

1. I spent about an hour watching The Mighty Boosh, on a large square of grass with lots of trees in Ickenham surrounded by houses. I wasn't disturbed once. Excellent. The problem was, should I sit in the sun or the shade? Wasps were hovering near the ground in the shade, I put up with them for a while, then moved into the sun when I couldn't be bothered to avoid them anymore.
2. I then went to Pro Music where I got Ukulele strings, strap locks and guitar picks. Strap locks come in pack of three's. Leigh tells me that this is in case you lose one - on the home I had the the thought that actually I'm more likely to lose the spare!!!!
3. I left at 10 to 4... The perfect time for my dad to be driving home and pick me up on his way... Of course this went wrong and he drove straight past me... Grr!
4. The bus was very hot. I always sit in the seat where there isn't a nearby button to push to get the bus to stop. Why do I always do that? I then spent the rest of the journey deciding which button to aim for!
5. I finally got home. (Would have been there 40 minutes earlier if my dad had noticed me!!) I now have lots of packing to do. A Guitar, a bagfull of CD's, a few t-shirts and some shorts should do... Await a mega update next week...!

Spiders.

1. I met a spider yesterday. It jumped into the full sink. After a few seconds of panicking I managed to get it out of the water. It laid flat on my hand for several minutes. It thengot up and stuck its bum in the air. At that point I wasn't sure if it was dead or not, so I put it on a sponge. I went back for it later. It was dead... Poor spider... :(
2. Nothing else to say.

Friday, 27 July 2007

Pfft.

1. I have just relived my hate of changing bass strings. Pffft. I think I'll stick to guitar strings...
2. I have also been to tescos today. My Dad rushed around so fast that I had to half run to keep up with him. Then, he decided to get some sausages. He spent ages choosing which ones to get.
That was odd.
3. XTC are great.
4. I have nothing else to say.
5. Pfft.

Thursday, 26 July 2007

Today.

1. I havn't done much.
2. I'm addicted to Pulp's Different Class album.
3. I've spent ages deciding what gauge strings I have on my new/old bass. The strings are going to cost me more than the bass did!!! Although I have no money at the moment anyway so I have plenty of time to decide...
4. Yellow is a great colour.
5. I have an idea for annoying children who can't shut up. Give them gobstoppers. Perfect for children on buses and aeroplanes and in supermarkets and shops. They could also be used to chuck at the really annoying child who won't shut up and starts kicking your chair. They just don't hear rather loud hints do they?
Today I have been on a bus. Need I say more?

Tuesday, 24 July 2007

Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooored.

1. Today has been boring. I doubt I will get past 3 bullet points.
2. I sat at the computer for 5 minutes, got bored so went to Pro Music. I spent several hours there where I played a few guitars.
3. In the morning I went to Uxbridge. I got some vinyl and stationary. That is it. I havn't done anythng else today. 2 days into the holiday and I'm bored already...

Thursday, 19 July 2007

Basses and Birthdays.

1. One day of school left... Horray! Then I'm in Year 11... Scary! But good...
2. I found a Clash hoody today. Woohoo! It was lying at the side of the road, I always have to have a look at things that are on the floor... There was no-one else about... so into my bag it went!
3. That was on the way to a friends house. She is selling her bass for £20. Obviously I'm interested... So I arrived, she had assured me that she would be in... She wasn't of course.
4. Films are so boring. We had to watch some film about a girl pretending to be a boy today. Boooooring. Thats what I hate about the end of term...
5. The rest of Jess' present arrived today. Horray! Its also her birthday! Happy birthday Jess/Hesso/Cresso/Kesso!

Wednesday, 18 July 2007

Bloggity Blog.

1. I've been busily unbusy lately so have forgotten to do my blog daily!
2. I havn't done much anyway!
3. I have 2 days left of school. Horray!
4. I'm going to go and look at a bass guitar on friday. My friend only wants £20 for it! Wayhey!
5. Its got to the time of year where I start panicking. Earlier I panicked about not finishing my cooking in time... 10 mins into a 2 hour lesson... I also panicked about my maths practice coursework earlier, which I have now finished thankfully! I can't wait until friday...

Wednesday, 11 July 2007

Pfft.

1. Camping was shit. Nothing else needs to be said about it.
2. I am no longer seen as the Bass player at school. Now I'm the Ukulele player. By the end of next year maybe I'll have managed to make it back to Guitar?
3. We have 7 days left of school. Then I have half a year left. I can't wait until I leave.
4. I'm never going camping ever again.
5. I have nothing else to say.

Sunday, 1 July 2007

Oh dear.

1. Yesterday I bought a Ukulele. I am now driving everyone mad with the noise. I can play lots of random songs including YMCA and Combine Harvester. Look out for me and Genevieve at a station near you soon!!
2. Today I went ice skating. All was going well until 20 mins before the end when I fell over and bashed my head. I had just managed to skate without holding onto the sides too. Pfft!
3. I also half tidied up today. My room now looks even worse than it did before. Oh well!!!
4. But I did find that I had 4 bottles of Tomato Sauce in my room. Oh dear.
5. I don't have to go to school tommorrow! Horray! But I am back on Tuesday :(

Tuesday, 26 June 2007

Moaning.

I like moaning. Today I'm going to moan a lot. (Yes even more than usual!)

1. I have somehow hurt my finger. I'm not sure how, but now I can't move it properly, play open chords or do slides/bends. Annoying. I also can't play Art Brut - Modern Art which I was going to record today as my band have decided to cover it. Oh well.
2. The sweetcorn attacked me. I was searching through the freezer for something to eat for my tea, when a bag of sweetcorn fell out. Of course the stupid stuff went everywhere. It seems to be against my mum's religion to use those freezer clip things or put open things in sensible places!!
3. I can't go to The Ruts gig which just so happens to be in Uxbridge. I am going camping on the 7th July. I'm sure that if you read this you know how much I'm dreading it. Of course The Ruts gig is on the 7th July... Now I don't want to go camping even more...
4. I also had the misfortune of leaving my house at 10 to 1, to get to the exam in time, and just as I walked out a group of people from school walked past my house... So I had to walk with them... That ruined the walk. Oh well I'll go on a much better one tommorrow...
5. I have nothing left to moan about... So I shall now carry on moaning to myself about having nothing to moan about...

Saturday, 23 June 2007

"and the moon looked like it was made out of books that no-one understands."

1. The unheard Strummer track 'Divorcing Jack' Was played on some radio station last night. Brilliant! Except they didn't play all of it... It has some wonderfully strange lyrics just like the one in my name!
2. I havn't updated for ages, yet I still have nothing to say.
3. On Thursday I burnt myself while cooking. I thought that the food was cooked. It wasn't. So I put it back in the oven with my hand, forgetting that the tray was hot. Meep.
4. Yesterday I went to Pro Music. I did very little. But I did show a lady what a hammer-on was. I actually did something for once!
5. Hopefully tommorrow's update will be better than this one...

Tuesday, 19 June 2007

I hate people... AND THEY HATE ME!!!!!

1. I want to do all my exams right now. One after the other. I can't be bothered to wait days in between each one. Pfft.
2. I'm having an everything and everyone is getting on my nerves day today. I even had to turn Iain Lee off because the callers were annoying me!
3. I bought the new The Clash - The Singles compilation. Exactly the same as the old one but with new packaging. But I have to have a complete collection...
4. Attia, Sidra and Saranpreet saw me go into my house today. Great. More people know where I live... Im still annoyed that Christina told Verity... Verity is the last person that I want turning up on my doorstep!
5. It was nessessary to quote The Anti-Nowhere League in my blog title today. It sums up todays bad mood brilliantly!! My band of the day are The Living End. Woo.

Monday, 18 June 2007

Not much...

1. The Science exam was OK. Once I had corrected my silly mistakes that is... I don't have any exams tommorrow! Yay!
2. Me and Hesso filled in quizzes about each other today! How odd!!!! It gave us something to do anyway!
3. I've been to Tesco today. How exciting. I bought a Stereophonics album there for £3! Wonderful.
4. I watched 3 episodes of The Chuckle Brothers. This brightened up my day!
5. I havn't done much today...

Sunday, 17 June 2007

Whoops I'm getting bad at updating...

Heres 2 days merged into one seen as I forgot to do yesterdays...

1. Yesterday I went out. I bought Jess's present. Well part of it. Woo. I also bought some Stiff Little Fingers stuff. I then went to Pro Music where I did usual Jenno things like playing that Acoustic Telecaster...
2. I listened to The Specials on the bus. Its impossible to sit still let alone stop smiling while listening to them! Everyone else on the bus must have thought I was a bit strange. Their probobly right. The Specials are my band of the day...
3. The man over the road still has a bouncy castle which still has screaming idiots on it. Why does everyone have to scream? It drives me mad!
4. Horray for only going to school for an hour tommorrow. I love exams because I don't have to talk to anyone (or put up with their screaming!) Plus I don't have to do PE for two weeks. Does it get any better?
5. Tonight I'm going to dig out lots of vinyl. The singles I think. Theres something satisfying about having to turn it over/change it for every song... I feel sorry for people who live with nothing but CD's/MP3's... Even cassettes are more fun in an annoying way!!

Ich habe lange kurze haare...

1. I decided to put a nice little guitar solo over what is going to become The Panickers new song earlier. Hess doesn't know this yet. Of course the solo is awful. I got a bit carried away and wrote it in the key of E instead of C... Wonderful...
2. My german oral was awful. I told Mrs Brewer that I clean my teeth to help around the home and that I have long short hair. Oh dear... She also laughed at me when I said that my favourite TV programme was The Smurfs. That put me off!
3. My new way of recording is much better. Theres a lot less crackling and stuff... Maybe a re-record of Flying Away and Mr. Orange will be needed...
4. For the story of Mr Orange type JenniferGDBC into youtube and some nice videos will appear... For the song fo to www.myspace.com/thepanickers.
5. My band of the day are still Art Brut. (I have to keep myself amused somehow with this silly new addition to my bullet points!!) Anyway Art Brut are wonderful and that is all.

People in love lie around and get fat.

1. I got 30/30 on my GCSE music solo performing today! Woo hoo! My improvement comment is to form a band... This will be difficult with my odd musical tastes... After all the last band went rather wrong...
2. I kind of want to jump out of an aeroplane. After hearing about Clazz's jump it sounds rather fun... Who wants to join me!?!?!?
3. I have a German oral exam tommorrow. Fun. One day left of school until study leave and exams. Brilliant!
4. I wonder if band will be on tommorrow... My report says that I should participate in band more often... I go every week, what else am I supposed to do?!?!? I bet the production takes over as usual though. I have never heard Queen songs sung as badly as the people taking part in this production are singing them.
5. Art Brut's new album is wonderfully great! Todays blog title is one of the lyrics from it... I love Art Brut. I think I might have to have a daily rant about some random band...

Jenno's 2 daily bullet points.

1. Cold tomato soup is better than hot tomato soup. To quote Hesso:
"oooh tomato soup is the best... As it contains... Nothing but tomatoes!"
I liked this.
2. I havn't done anything today. I struggled with bullet point one, and I can't even do bullet point 2. Oh well. Maybe I can do the full bullet points tommorrow.

Tuesday, 12 June 2007

Oooops!

Ooops! I forgot to update for two days! *Shock horror!*
So here's what I've been doing over the last few days... (Not much!)

1. On Sunday I went to Portobello Road. I ended up buying 9 promo CD's for £3. I looked through tons of vinyl buy couldn't find any Clash stuff that I don't have... This is getting depressing... I may have to move onto another band...
2. On Monday I had a Geography exam. It was alright. All I had to do was spend an hour and 45 minutes answering questions on Antarctica. Easy. Now hopefully I did well...
3. I'm addicted to The Stereophonics. Their album, Word Gets Around is a masterpiece. I'm probobly the only person I know who thinks this. I don't think I know anyone else who even slightly likes them! Oh well... Their all mind! Mwahahahaha.
4. We go on study leave next week. Yay! I won't see so many screaming idiots for 2 weeks - And even when i will see them we will be in an exam so they won't be saying anything! Brilliant!
5. Noise making time. I think I'll play the Telecaster today... Its been neglected a little since the arrival of the Strat...

Reversing scooters.

1. I watched a DVD on The Clash earlier. The Clash - Up close and Personal. Lots of Johnny Green, Robin Banks, Ray Lowry, Kris Needs and Chris Salewicz talking. It also had some very nice clips of The Clash playing live. Brilliant.
2. Later on I visited Pro Music, played the Acoustic Telecaster as usual. Then picked up a 12 string to see what my GCSE solo performing piece would sound like on it. It sounded good. Now I just need to find someone who will lend me a 12 string for Thursday... So far it looks like I'm going to be playing it on a normal 6 string!!!
3. I had a very nice walk nearly all the way home listening to The Stereophonics - Word Gets Around album. I love that album. I enjoyed it muchly. Then when I was nearly home my Dad saw me and picked me up. We went to my Nans.
4. My Nan complained a lot. But then she normally does. She told me all about how she has to draw every single one of her curtains at night because of all the lights. I thought everyone drew the curtains anyway. I then had to go outside and look at and smell her roses. Each one had a story behind it. The flowers were all red. I was told that most were meant to be purple or white but something had gone wrong. Weird.
5. She then let me have a go on her old people scooter thing!!!! I'm crap at turning around. But I've never reversed anything before in my life so I'm not supposed to be good at it am I?
I whizzed it around the garden for a while then parked it again. Fun. I'll be riding a proper 50cc scooter in January anyway... Mwahahaha.

Tommorrow I'm going to Portobello Road with Jenni. Woo. I havn't been to Camden lately... Maybe I'll go there on my own when I next sneak off... I think I need a new Clash t-shirt before I go on holiday... You can never have too many of those. I havn't seen my London Calling or White Riot t-shirts around lately... I wonder where they've gone...

Oasis.

1. The free White Stripes single with the NME is rather good. This amazes me as I don't normally like them. It has the usual bad drumming etc but theres definitely something I like about it...
2. I got 19/20 on the P3 practice test. Brilliant. Now hopefully I can do that well on the B3 and C3 parts of the test on the real thing...
3. Everyone chucked chocolate at me today! Amy gave me 5 bags of mini haribo for letting her borrow my Doc Marterns, Kayley gave me cake at lunch time andMr Aldridge gave me a kit kat! Brilliant.
4. Tesco Value noodles rock. And they only cost 8p! Brilliant! Maybe I should live on Pie and Noodles...
5. I dropped a guitar pick in a practice room today. Me and Kayley spent ages looking for it. It didn't turn up. I don't know why we even bothered looking really. Shortley after this, I bring up Oasis for some reason. Kayley didn't know who they are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She worries me sometimes!

I wish I had a mango tree...

1. The Science exam was ok. Not good. Not bad. Somewhere inbetween. At least it was 45 minutes where I didn't have to talk to anyone!! Althought the "what did you write for the questions about blah?" talk afterwards really annoys me.
2. The itunes single of the weeks have been rather good lately. A song meantioning mango tree's has to be good!
3. Nobody wants a Frappachino. Which is probobly good. All I know about them is that they have all the benefits of a cold drink but with a caffine boost...
4. Everything annoyed me today. I didn't even enjoy my guitar lesson - I was in a really bad mood by that point which only got worse! First of all by having to play The Arctic Monkeys - That song about the sun. I've never actually heard it before. I dispised every AM song that I heard before that one so never listened to it. Little Man Tate rule over The Arctic Monkeys...
The I went to Food Tech where I had to do computery things and the automatic numbering thing annoyed me then I did it all wrong. I cheered up some time during lunch time after playing an acoustic guitar as violently as possible.
5. I want a very cheap guitar to take apart. I missed a deal last night on ebay. £10 for a strat copy with a little amp. That would have been perfect! Oh well... Something else will come up...

Wednesday, 6 June 2007

Popemobile!

1. I have now decided what to make for my food tech coursework which is on vegetarians. Vegetarian pie. What else? Pasta is crap compared to pie... Plus if I make pie I get to eat it... Brilliant!
2. I finally found my calculator. I remembered where I put it after I remembered that I took it (and more or less everything else) apart and put it back together again. It still works. So everything is good.
3. I've changed my mind now - again. For my GCSE solo performing I am now playing Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here... Now if only I had a 12 string guitar... But I havn't. So I'll play it on a 6 string. I'll have changed my mind by tommorrow anyway.
4. I today discovered that The Pope has a Popemobile. I never knew this before. Of course, I found this absolutely hilarious! I had to google it after the lady meantioned it on the radio news, it looks ridiculous. But fancy calling it a Popemobile!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
5. I think its Die Toten Hosen time. Goos for a laugh. Plus their really good. And fun. No idea what their saying. Thats half of the fun!

Tuesday, 5 June 2007

Pie.

1. Today we planned our route for the next Duke Of Edinburgh camping expedition. I'm dreading it already. How can I get out of it?
2. I can't wait until the Isle Of Wight... Me and Jess are going to watch The Mighty Boosh and play around with guitars... Brilliant! Thats my idea of a holiday!!
3. I had pie for tea. Is there a single food in the whole world that is better than pie? I don't think so. Pie is the best.
4. Jenni makes the best chocolate brownies in the world ever. Jeeennnniiiii? Will you make more? :D
5. I forgot to comment on the people in school yesterday... Their still screaming idiots. I didn't expect anything different. Still annoying though.

Monday, 4 June 2007

Good morning heres the news...

1. Yes my signed Carbon/Silicon stuff arrived. Brilliant! Ignore Alien Orders is very good... I had already heard all the other songs on teh CD so already knew that they were good... *Thumbs up to C/S*
2. In PE I did nothing but walk around the track. Well, I ran 2 short distances! Anyway at the end of the lesson she asked me if I wanted a bad PE report. I told her that I didn't care - why should I? PE means nothing anyway... She then gave me the 'Why PE is good' lecture. Boring.
3. I've changed my mind over what to play for my GCSE solo performing yet again. I'm now back on The Beatles idea and have decided on In My Life. All I have to learn for that is the lovely Electric Piano solo...
4. It was out last Geography lesson today before the DME exam on Monday... The most exciting thing about Antarctica still seems to be the Penguins!!!
5. I've just downloaded Topper Headons solo album, I was expecting it to be awful. Its different - but I like it!

Sunday, 3 June 2007

Milkshake

1. I did some Science revision today. Very boring. But that first proper GCSE exam is on the 7th (I had forgotten as usual) so I had better do some revision...
2. I also have a proper Geography exam on the 11th. I had forgotten about that one too. I wonder where my statement of entry is? June seemed a very long way away when I put it somewhere safe...
3. I got so bored that I went out just to get a chocolate milkshake... I fancied a McDonalds one for some reason... More ice cream like than the ones you get in normal shops... So I missed the bus. Thought that I may aswell walk up Long Lane to the next bus stop as otherwise I would be sitting at the normal one for a very long time. So I waited half an hour for a bus (and the ipod was out of battery...) Got a milkshake and went home... Brilliant.
4. School tommorrow... Boring. And I have PE... My favourite lesson... Not. What excuse shall I use to get out of it this week? 1 year of PE left... Will I make it?
5. I think I want to be a traffic warden. It seems like the perfect job where I can be so miserable that it makes me happy. I would be one of those really evil ones who stands buy the car until its one minuite over the time so I can write the ticket... Most people think I'm mad. They're probobly right.

Orange Squash.

1. Last night, I went with my dad to see one of his friends... This friend is very strange. He hasn't worked in 6 years as he claims to have hurt his shoulder - now he's wondering why their trying to sack him yet again!! He also has long grey hair with bald patches that looks very greasy. Terrifyingly he was wearing a vest and purple (!?) jogging bottoms. Oh dear. Anyway. He asked me what drink I wanted. I said Orange Squash. That was a mistake. For some reason he put hot water in it. Me being me, I didn't say anything. I burnt my tongue on it and it tasted like one of those lemsip cold and flu drink things. Thankfully, him and my dad went into the shed to measure a bike or something - A perfect chance for me to pour most of the drink down the sink! I'm not going to touch Orange Squash for a very long time.
2. I went out today. I've ended up buying the soundtrack for the new Joe Strummer film - The Future Is Unwritten. Horray! Theres also yet another The Clash - The Singles compilation out on monday... That isn't so good... Its more or less the same as the last The Clash - The Singles or The Essential Clash but with different artwork.
3. My signed Carbon/Silicon stuff was dispatched yesterday! Horray! I can't wait for that to arrive! It can take its place on top of my CD shelves along with my Paul stuff...
4. It's too hot. My yearly complaint! I'll be saying this a lot until it finally cools down again in late October!! I also have a heat rash and hayfever. Wonderful.
5. I love that Acoustic Telecaster... Keep me away from it! I mustn't buy it! Yet...

Friday, 1 June 2007

Thumbs Up.

1. Me and Esso played a few more songs today. We got through The Ramones - Blitzkrieg Bop, Generation X - King Rocker, The Lurkers - I Don't Need To Tell Her and... Wait for this Hesso! The Panickers - Flying Away!! (The Panickers are mine and Hesso's internet band...) Fun.
2. After that, I went to the Co-op to cool down a bit. In there some random guy in the queue was amazed that I liked The Clash! We had a chat. He also got a special Jenno thumbs up goodbye!
3. I now know more or less everything about card making. Siobhan's mum likes to talk. I've even seen all the cards that she's made - and who shes going to send them to... *Escapes from the cards.*
4. Fruit Pastilles rock. Although the pack I bought today only had one red one and about six black ones. That sucks.
5. I have some shrinkles to make tonight... When i saw some I just couldn't resist!

Wednesday, 30 May 2007

Restringing...

1. I bought some printer ink cartidges today. Woo hoo! I can now print the tabs for my solo performing...
2. String changing was a disaster. I couldn't get the high E string out of the guitar. Are those the fender bullet strings? Whatever they are - I'm avoiding them! After a phone call, a chat with Ian and a long, pointy allen key, the string was out out of the guitar. But things only got wose. For some reason I was changing the strings starting with high E, then to B and so on... I changed the first 3 strings then decided to chop off the remaining bits of string from all 3 as they were getting in the way. On the third string I slipped... I am now missing the high E and B strings... I have no spares... I feel rather silly... I'll have to buy those tommorrow... Anyway who needs those strings for a bit of punk rock!?
3. I'm sleeping at Siobhans tommorrow. I don't think I'm going to have a chance to do my blog! *SHOCK HORROR!!!!!!!!!!!!!* I might have to do a very early morning one where I have even less to say than usual... (Does this show that I have almost half a life every once in a while?)
4. I have exactly 60p in 1 and 2p's. Useless. What are you supposed to do with them other than hoard them? They aren't exactly the most spendable things in the world are they?
5. I own 28 screwdrivers. Do I really need so many? I don't think so... Although I do keep finding more and more uses for each one... Maybe you can never have too many...

Tuesday, 29 May 2007

Ready...Seperates...

1. Amy has discovered that my rather old, 10 hole, steel toed Dr Marten boots aren't waterproof. I wonder what state I'll get those back in?
2. I don't feel too good. I blame the bus. It was really hot on it. I felt like I was going to faint at one point!! Stupid thing.
3. I'm being miserable as usual. What else do you expect?
4. I spent ages in the guitar shop today. I only remembered that I actually meant to buy something when I got on the train. Oh well. It was only picks. I can get those on my next day of boredness which will probobly be Thursday/Friday.
5. My cds arrived. Yay. I can now stop saying rude things about the postman when he doesn't arrive before I leave the house as I'm not expecting anything to arrive. I don't like it how no post comes on bank holidays. This adds to the depressingness of them.

Obviously I'm not being very positive today!! Oh well!

Jenno.

Monday, 28 May 2007

I have now tidied up.

1. I want to move my amps to where my cds. There aren't any plugs where my cds are. Annoyingness.
2. I found a dead woodlouse under my bed. I removed it and put it in with last weeks Sunday Times, which I bought to get the free punk cd. Of course everyone else I knew bought it too - so I now have millions of copys of it.
3. Its still only 4 o clock. I think I need to do more tidying to waste more time. I also found lots of mouldy sweets under my bed. Yuck. Their in the bin now. Along with the box that their in. Why do I keep everything?
4. I think I might re-tidy up, getting rid of all of the stuff that I just shoved down the back of everything else.
5. Im going to put Little Man Tate on to help me with my tidying... They still never fail to make me smile...

I hate Bank Holidays.

Monday 28th May 2007.

1. Horray I can turn over my calender soon! I still have it on April because the picture of Billie Joe from Green Day on May was horrible - I couldn't stand to look at it!! His hair is rather poodle like and he has a red frilly blouse/shirt on. Not a good look.
2. I decided to play The Only Ones for my GCSE solo performing. Now I just need to learn to play it... It would be good if my printer had some ink so I could print off the tab... If I handwrite it I won't be able to read it... Just like how I can't read anything that I write!
3. Leigh's blog made me instantly find my 7" single copy of The Sex Pistols - God Save The Queen... Since finding its way to the player it hasn't left... Its also on full volume. I bet my neighbors love hearing God Save The Queen and Did You No Wrong alternate all day. I may have to wear my GSTQ t-shirt tommorrow...
4. It seem that everyone else but me has a life. I've asked several people if they want to go out today. Every single one has said no. It would look sucpicious if I said I was going to Uxbridge again - 4 days in a row. Also no-one can give me a good reason why I'm not allowed on trains on my own... Oh well I'll just sneak about for a while longer... I'm very bored now though. Ive spent the last few hours playing the bubble game while eating love hearts. One of the love hearts said 'dishy' on it. Interesting.
5. I'm thinking its time to make some noise with my nice yellow strat now... The Pistols have played God Save The Queen enough times... Maybe I could really piss off the neighbors by turning my amp onto full volume with lots of distortion, turning The Pistols up even higher and playing along!

Expect another blog later. I'm that bored that this is possibly the most entertaining thing that I've done all day. Jenno.

Sunday, 27 May 2007

1. Today I ended up in Eastcote on my random train journey. On the train 2 old ladies started talking to me. They were going to visit their cousin in Acton. They even waved at me when I got off the train. Scary.
2. I didn't expect to see anyone I knew down Eastcote high street. Of course I saw several people. Antony (A customer Pro Music) That suprised me! The other person was that teaching assistant that Christina thinks is her half sister. I also saw a bright yellow MG Midget. It matched my guitar. I love MG Midgets - I couldn't stop staring at that one!! I kind of want a yellow car...
3. I forgot to get off the train at Hillingdon station so I went to Uxbridge and ended up in HMV... Yesterday I was attempting to get hold of a copy of Wire - Pink Flag in there but couldn't find it... Today I walked in and the first thing I saw was a display of various punk cds including Pink Flag... The temptation was too much. I ended up buying Pink Flag and The Ramones first album which I strangely didn't own a cd copy of... Im still waiting for the other 3 cds that I bought on the HMV websites punk sale... Damn you HMV...
4. I've decided on a few songs that I might play for my GCSE solo performing piece. My two choices are The Beatles - Strawberry Fields Forever or The Only Ones - Another Girl, Another Planet. I'm not sure which to choose... What do you, my non existant readers think?
5. Where shall I go next week? I'm thinking that I might go to my random place on a Saturday though... There was a quite interesting looking cd shop in Eastcote that was closed... Maybe I should go back during the week...

Saturday, 26 May 2007

I like Trains.

I want blog titles. So the date will now go at the top of my posts.

Saturday 26th May 2007.

1. Siobhans dad let me go through his record collection!! I now have some Rich Kids, Stranglers, Elvis Costello and Tom Robinson stuff! I also seem to have taken home most of the dead spiders in their shed...
2. I played several different guitars/basses in teh shop today... That Line 6 Variax makes some great noises!! I also quite liked the Fender Jaguar and Gretsch Electromatic (I think that was the one!!) I didn't like the Yamaha bass very much...
3. While sitting at the station, someone on the train going in the other direction waved to me. Being the only person on the platform, I waved back. I still don't really know if I knew them or not!!
4. I don't know what to do tommorrow. I might get on a train and get off when I feel like it (then attempt not to get lost!) Today I was the only person in my carriage. I liked that. I hate Sundays. Nothing ever happens. If only Jess lived nearer...
5. I think I'm going to record something now. I don't know what yet. Maybe a less dodgy version of Wake Me Up When September Ends. (The last recording of that I did was really bad!)
The song drives me mad when listening to it, yet still I play it!!
Is there anyone out there who's able to record some drums for me?

Friday, 25 May 2007

Friday 25th May 2007,

1. Yay its half term. No school for a week. Brilliant. I still havn't quite adjusted to having to see everyone every single day after seeing no-one for 2 weeks after Work Experience. I like being on my own. Particularly when seeing people daily envolves seeing something like 900 screaming twats who irritate me in every way possible.
2. At lunch time Jenni and Mr Aldridge had a light switch fight. That was quite entertaining.
3. Phone calls to Siobhan are weird. I always end up organising days out with her mum instead of with Siobhan. Interesting. Of course her mum talks an awful lot - so I can never escape. Anyone reading this blog will probobly know that I'm not very good at phone calls. I forget that people can't see me nodding and can never think of anything to say anyway.
4. I'm in a better mood today. I've noticed that my last week or so of blogging has been nothing but me moaning. I like moaning. And if I moan on a blog no-one has to listen to me rambling on about my day...
5. Im going to put cds back onto my shelves in a minuite. I currently have quite a large cd pile in the middle of my floor. I keep tripping over it. That free turf I got a while back is also starting to get in my way. I'm not really too sure what to do with it. Its one of those things that I don't really want to throw away!!!

Thursday, 24 May 2007

Thursday 24th May 2007 Number 2.

I've just been to Tesco and B&Q. So for some reason I'm gonna blog about it.
In Tesco's we spent ages looking for carpet cleaner. Of course my Dad won't even think about asking someone where it is. We never found it. So we went to B&Q to look for it. After finding tons of laminate floor cleaner - and two identical displays of it, we found the carpet cleaner. This took a while. In the mean time I had found a man who had one of those 'Learn to speak some odd language in 2 weeks' CD's. He was repeating the sentances out loud to himself! I found that quite entertaining.
Then in the queue to pay, someone was having a right moan that the lady on the till was so slow - of course they had only been standing there about 2 minutes! Then I looked behind me... And they worked there!!! I've discovered that B&Q is one of the places where all the nutters go...

Thursday 24th May 2007.

1. Today hasn't been a good day. More or less everyone that I've seen has annoyed me. Particularly The random person who asked who hit me - I still think they deserved the reply they got... Also the boy over from Abbotsfield who decided to sit in the practice room with me and Kat Pee at lunch time who had nothing better to do than untune, unplug turn the volume down and stuff to my guitar and spent the rest of them time when he wasn't doing this poking me. I left the room before he saw my temper which terrifies most people who are unfortunate enough to see it...
2. I wore low top converse today. I hadn't realised how annoying my jeans are. They're all ripped from where I've been walking on them and I normally wear DM's so can't feel their annoyingness...
3. Theres nothing good on at the cinema. I hate Pirates of the Carribean. I seem to be the only person who can't stand it. So we have no film to see tommorrow for Daisy Mae's birthday. So we're gonna go in a few weeks time when there is something on.
4. We ate Party Rings and Jammy Dodgers in music. We've decided to have snack time on Thursdays music lessons... This should be good! A time of day to eat crisps and biscuits? Brilliant!
5. Last night was the first night that I've had trouble sleeping because its too hot. Won't it be fun having little sleep until about September? *Moves to Antarctica*

Wednesday, 23 May 2007

Theres the picture of that acoustic guitar I was going on about. You can just about see how the front of it is coming away from the side of the body. I'm not sure how that happened. I expect its my fault though. I think saying goodbye to that may be the worst thing about leaving school next year...
anyway. my bullet points:

1. I finished my font. Its interesting. Its difficult to read but I don't care im going to use it anyway!
2. I still have a black eye. Oh well. Now that more or less everyone knows the questions have stopped. Only 2 or 3 people have asked what happened today.
3. Generation X - King Rocker is an addictive song to play.
4. For the schools production of We Will Rock You later in the year, the singers seem to be singing along to a backing track. How crap it that? Hardly worth seeing if you ask me.
5. The clouds are interesting today. Its got to that time of year where I spend ages stareing at clouds out of my window again!!

Tuesday, 22 May 2007

Tuesday 22nd May 2007.

1. I'm back. My bass strings are still all there.
2. This means that I can save my £20! Although I still want those strap locks... And have a spare Saturday morning... What a shame that its only Tuesday.
3. I took a picture of that acoustic guitar. I'll post it tommorrow. I'm too lazy to do it now.
4. I'm really sad. I'm making my own computer font. More on this tommorrow when I'll probobly upload it - when I've succeeded of course.
5. Does anyone else feel ridiculous wearing brighty coloured clothes? My guitar may be yellow - but if I wear a bright t-shirt i feel ridiculous! Whites alright. I have a few white ones. But black is definietely best.

Tuesday 22nd May 2007.

1. That speech thing is over. It was awful, but oh well.
2. Im playing bass at the school concert thing tonight. As its a school evening and me playing it, something will happen to one of the strings. It always does. But I don't have a spare £20 at the moment.
3. Im waiting for lots of things in the post. It would be great if some of it would arrive.
4. I was playing my favourite school acoustic guitar today. I love it because its in such a mess (most of the mess from my violent approach at playing it) I might take a picture of it later if I have a chance. Its so great that everyone needs to see it!!
5. 3 days left until half term. Thank god for that. Do I really need to go there for another year?

Monday, 21 May 2007

Monday 21st May 2007.

1. My guitars have taken over my life. All weekend I had guitar cravings, and now I don't want to do my English speech thing about my work experience because all I want to do is make a lot of noise. Plus the purple card that I'm writing this speech on doesn't fit in with my work experience does it? Maybe something brighter and less pastelly would be better...
2. Now I can't find a pen. But I can find that Chuckle Brothers ruler.
3. 15 minutes later I still don't want to write this speech. Next I have to do Maths homework. I may just give up now.
4. 4 days until half term. Why couldn't I have got a black eye next weekend? I'm fed up of explaining what I did. Today hasn't been a good day.
5. 20 mins and I've found my way to a certain yellow strat and amp... Oh well. Homework can be done later.

Ive done literally nothing all day.
Blog over.

Sunday, 20 May 2007

And heres my eye...
I wonder how it will look tommorrow...

Saturday 19th May/Sunday 20th May 2007.

I want to do paragraphs today so I'm not going to do my usual bullet points.

We set off at 10am on Saturday. All started well. We walked. We went the wrong way, but corrected ourselves. Then I tripped over. I only hurt my knees and hands though so all was ok.It is now half past 12 and we are walking down a very steep hill. One minute I'm attempting to walk down the hill. The next minuite im face down on the ground, hitting my head/eye on a root. When I fall you don't notice that I've fallen until you hear the thud. I don't make a noise - so this came as quite a suprise to everyone!! I now have a very nice black eye.Of course, at this point we we're very low down, so had to walk back up the other side of the hill - but someone else was carrying my bag so all was more or less ok. We met up with the teachers in a pub in Peaslake. Odd place. Too quiet for my liking. Anyway I cleaned up my eye a bit in the pub and sat down. It was then decided that as it was a head injury i needed to go to hospital... So I did. They prodded it and did hospitally things and decided it was alright. The nurse also said not to do the walk the next day... So I didn't! That part made me happy... The hospital was right next door to Tesco. We stopped off in there. It was creepy doing the shopping with my teacher and her partner... We decided to use the self checkout thingy. Adrian (teachers partner) made a huge mess of this. He was calling the assistant person called Natasha over every 5 seconds! That was quite entertaining.

We then put the tents up and cooked. Nothing too much happened then. So I'll skip to Sunday.

So on Sunday we woke up and put tents down etc. Then all the other groups set off for their walk that day. As I wasn't walking I had to do the odd jobs like emptying the rubbish bins and doing the washing up. That was boring. We then drove around checking that the groups we're ok. I then bought a newspaper. The Sunday Times with a nice free Punk cd. It's a boring paper but I read it all day anyway. In the car the teachers were following the map very carefully, to the point that they were saying "And in a minuite the road will bend to the left." I found that a little strange and had trouble stopping myself from laughing. We also stopped for lunch in a pub. I had chips to go with my packed lunch. Yum. They were homemade too!
We then drove around more. I never want to see Surrey again in my life.

A picture of my eye will follow...

Friday 18th May 2007.

1. My fingers have now recovered after Jenni managed hit my fingers with her Science stool...
2. I bought some guitar strings. I also spent quite a while in the shop talking to Leigh and playing a Acoustic Telecaster and afterwards a Fender Jaguar...
3. I enjoyed the walk home. I prefer the walk between the shop and Hillingdon station from the walk between the station and my house.
4. Someone has nicked my Walk On By bass tab from my band folder. Well I havn't touched it for 2 weeks anyway...
5. Im going camping tommorrow. Meh. I really can't be bothered. A 15 mile walk over 2 days doesn't really appeal to me. Why did I sign up for this?

I'll do 10 bullet points on Sunday... Maybe.

Thursday 17th May 2007.

1. I went to school today... Not as bad as usual I suppose.
2. Mr Butterworth (guitar teacher) has decided that I'm going to learn to solo in Pink Floyd's 'Another Brick In The Wall.' I think a new set of strings will be needed after doing 5 fret bends, making fret 13 sound like fret 18!!
3. The new Johnny Panic album is rather good.
4. I feel like making a lot of noise tonight. Mwahahaha. In all the time that I've been playing the guitar, not one neighbor has complained - my mum has of course. Once she told me to stop playing as it was too late or something. The problem with that was that I wasn't actually playing. Lemmy from Motorhead was on the tv. I laughed.
5. Once again, I have nothing but bass parts to play at the next school concert thing. This sucks. It wouldn't be so bad if the pieces wern't so easy in the first place... Its annoying being the only person in the entire school who plays bass...

Wednesday 16th May 2007.

1. I had my hair cut today.
2. I havn't been at school because I'm ill.
3. I spent all morning listening to The Who - Tommy. I don't like the way that sides 1 and 4 are on the same disc and 2 and 3 are on the other. (vinyl!)
4. Ive done various guitarry things today.
5. The Itunes free single of the week has been quite good lately. I reccomend this weeks. Ruarri Joseph - More Rock 'n' Roll. I like it anyway.

Wednesday 16th May 2007.

Im ill.
I expect this is because of my awful cooking.
I'm not eating garlic bread again for a very long time.
Message to Kat Pee who doesn't even read the blog: There is no way im eating pasta with the stir in sauce at the weekend. I blame that tomato sauce I made as well as the garlic bread...

I wonder if the poor judges that also ate my cooking are still alive today?

Tuesday, 15 May 2007

Tuesday 15th May 2007.

1. Thankfully I didn't win the competition.
2. The walk at the weekend is 15 miles long... Can I die now? But thankfully this route avoids fields so no horses.
3. School is still crap. The next 2 weeks are going to go very slowly.
4. I've done even less today than I would have done if Karn was telling me millions of weird stories.
5. That basically means that I can't think of a point 4 or 5. E-mails would ve muchly apprechiated... Particularly ones that I can send a nice reply to... JenniferGDBC@hotmail.com... Im that desperate...

Monday, 14 May 2007

Monday 14th May 2007.

2. Everything seems different in an even worse than before way.
3. Do I really have to go back there tommorrow?
4. I'm camping in Surrey over the weekend. Pffft. I can't be bothered.
5. For some reason I've been entered for the young chef of the year competition at school. On the plus side I miss a lesson, English. On the downside if I win I have to go and compete against other schools in the borough. Anyway... I hopefully won't win...

That free turf sample i arrived today.

Grass Park Junior
Turf Deluxe
Springfield Curl
Meadow Twist Emerald.

They gave me a laugh anyway...
I never realised that turf was so plasticky.

Friday 11th May 2007.

1. Esso and Arturo from The Lurkers and in Arturo's case 999 too came into the shop today! They helped us get a delivery of 54 guitars in!
2. Arturo's bass is incredibly heavy...
3. While me and Leigh were attempting to get the delivery into a better place than the middle of the shop, we closed. This upset many customers who knocked on the door when they saw we were in there. I wonder if it looked like we were slightly busy?
4. Im going to see the Chuckle Brothers with Hesso tommorrow! (oh wow she's Esso with an H!)
5. Work experience is over :-(

Thursday 10th May 2007.

1. Leigh wasn't here but Karn was... I now know even more about his life and more or less everything else...
2. Me and Esso from The Lurkers played White Riot, Teenage Kicks and 2 songs we made up yesterday with him on drums and me on guitar!
3. The dvd that was on all day has possibly driven me mad.
4. I put Harmonica's in a display case.
5. I found the mini recorders terrifying... At this point Karn made a police car noise with it... Terrifying.

Tuesday 8th May 2007

1. Teh new guitar had its bridge sorted out today. Along with a few other things...
2. We took down a drum kit for someone who recognised me from when I still had long hair and was 11. Scary.

4. I'm going to record more stuff today. You might get to hear it. You might not. Seen as 'you' only refers to Jess as she's the only who loves me enough to actually look forward to reading my blog, you will actually definitely get to hear the recordings.
5. If anyone else actually does bother to read by blog send me a I READ YOUR BLOG! e-mail to JenniferGDBC@hotmail.com Im quite interested to know if anyone actually does... Ooooh Clazz does i think. 2 people love me!!

4. It seems that no-one can help me with the dvd burning.
5. I can't make it to any of the previews of the new Joe Strummer film. Pffft.

I might do 5 more bullet points later. I havn't decided yet.

Oh. Yes. Antony meantioned my lovely new guitar on the radio last night, as part of his Ask Antony feature on the Iain Lee show. Woo.

Why do I do so little?
Oh well i'll just sit here doing random guitarry things all day.

Jenno.

5. I discovered that dvds take a very long time to rip.

And today, at half past 6 in the morning i had a moment. Getting a good recording of my guitars/basses suddenly seemed very easy. of course you just plug in the guitar as normal, then get another lead and plug it into your line out, get a thingy to convert the lead into a smaller jack, then plug it into the microphone socket on the computer!
Now its just vocals that are a problem... although I have an idea...
Of course my mic hardly works... this is a problem...
I'll test out my mic idea when everyones out, as it will make some lovely feedback noises.
Probobly not a good thing at 20 past 8 in the morning.

Sunday, 29 April 2007

I have just finished putting up our new tent, we got a new one as the old one was too small.
So, we started to put up the new tent. We finished it, stood and stared at it for a while, then decided that it wasnt any bigger than the old tent. Thats when we realised that it was the old tent! So that tent came down, and the new one went up.
The new one is much bigger and funkier. Mwahahhahah. Of course its a fact that me and Kat Pee will struggle with it. Us together makes even the simplest task difficult.

My 5 bullet points of the day will arrive later...

Now i'm crap at blogging, so you will get 5 bullet points a day - sometimes I will update these later in the day! And sometimes a memory that i have remembered during the day. So here I go.

A few minutes ago I was thinking about the time the car got written off so we had a car from some company while we got a new one. It only had a cassette player. At that time I only had a couple of cassettes. The longest of these being The Clash - Cut The Crap. So we listened to that everywhere we went. Torture.

Anyway. Expect another blog in 5 mins when I think of something else.

Goodbye for now!
