Moaning.

I like moaning. Today I'm going to moan a lot. (Yes even more than usual!)

1. I have somehow hurt my finger. I'm not sure how, but now I can't move it properly, play open chords or do slides/bends. Annoying. I also can't play Art Brut - Modern Art which I was going to record today as my band have decided to cover it. Oh well.
2. The sweetcorn attacked me. I was searching through the freezer for something to eat for my tea, when a bag of sweetcorn fell out. Of course the stupid stuff went everywhere. It seems to be against my mum's religion to use those freezer clip things or put open things in sensible places!!
3. I can't go to The Ruts gig which just so happens to be in Uxbridge. I am going camping on the 7th July. I'm sure that if you read this you know how much I'm dreading it. Of course The Ruts gig is on the 7th July... Now I don't want to go camping even more...
4. I also had the misfortune of leaving my house at 10 to 1, to get to the exam in time, and just as I walked out a group of people from school walked past my house... So I had to walk with them... That ruined the walk. Oh well I'll go on a much better one tommorrow...
5. I have nothing left to moan about... So I shall now carry on moaning to myself about having nothing to moan about...

"and the moon looked like it was made out of books that no-one understands."

1. The unheard Strummer track 'Divorcing Jack' Was played on some radio station last night. Brilliant! Except they didn't play all of it... It has some wonderfully strange lyrics just like the one in my name!
2. I havn't updated for ages, yet I still have nothing to say.
3. On Thursday I burnt myself while cooking. I thought that the food was cooked. It wasn't. So I put it back in the oven with my hand, forgetting that the tray was hot. Meep.
4. Yesterday I went to Pro Music. I did very little. But I did show a lady what a hammer-on was. I actually did something for once!
5. Hopefully tommorrow's update will be better than this one...

I hate people... AND THEY HATE ME!!!!!

1. I want to do all my exams right now. One after the other. I can't be bothered to wait days in between each one. Pfft.
2. I'm having an everything and everyone is getting on my nerves day today. I even had to turn Iain Lee off because the callers were annoying me!
3. I bought the new The Clash - The Singles compilation. Exactly the same as the old one but with new packaging. But I have to have a complete collection...
4. Attia, Sidra and Saranpreet saw me go into my house today. Great. More people know where I live... Im still annoyed that Christina told Verity... Verity is the last person that I want turning up on my doorstep!
5. It was nessessary to quote The Anti-Nowhere League in my blog title today. It sums up todays bad mood brilliantly!! My band of the day are The Living End. Woo.

Not much...

1. The Science exam was OK. Once I had corrected my silly mistakes that is... I don't have any exams tommorrow! Yay!
2. Me and Hesso filled in quizzes about each other today! How odd!!!! It gave us something to do anyway!
3. I've been to Tesco today. How exciting. I bought a Stereophonics album there for £3! Wonderful.
4. I watched 3 episodes of The Chuckle Brothers. This brightened up my day!
5. I havn't done much today...

Whoops I'm getting bad at updating...

Heres 2 days merged into one seen as I forgot to do yesterdays...

1. Yesterday I went out. I bought Jess's present. Well part of it. Woo. I also bought some Stiff Little Fingers stuff. I then went to Pro Music where I did usual Jenno things like playing that Acoustic Telecaster...
2. I listened to The Specials on the bus. Its impossible to sit still let alone stop smiling while listening to them! Everyone else on the bus must have thought I was a bit strange. Their probobly right. The Specials are my band of the day...
3. The man over the road still has a bouncy castle which still has screaming idiots on it. Why does everyone have to scream? It drives me mad!
4. Horray for only going to school for an hour tommorrow. I love exams because I don't have to talk to anyone (or put up with their screaming!) Plus I don't have to do PE for two weeks. Does it get any better?
5. Tonight I'm going to dig out lots of vinyl. The singles I think. Theres something satisfying about having to turn it over/change it for every song... I feel sorry for people who live with nothing but CD's/MP3's... Even cassettes are more fun in an annoying way!!

Ich habe lange kurze haare...

1. I decided to put a nice little guitar solo over what is going to become The Panickers new song earlier. Hess doesn't know this yet. Of course the solo is awful. I got a bit carried away and wrote it in the key of E instead of C... Wonderful...
2. My german oral was awful. I told Mrs Brewer that I clean my teeth to help around the home and that I have long short hair. Oh dear... She also laughed at me when I said that my favourite TV programme was The Smurfs. That put me off!
3. My new way of recording is much better. Theres a lot less crackling and stuff... Maybe a re-record of Flying Away and Mr. Orange will be needed...
4. For the story of Mr Orange type JenniferGDBC into youtube and some nice videos will appear... For the song fo to www.myspace.com/thepanickers.
5. My band of the day are still Art Brut. (I have to keep myself amused somehow with this silly new addition to my bullet points!!) Anyway Art Brut are wonderful and that is all.

People in love lie around and get fat.

1. I got 30/30 on my GCSE music solo performing today! Woo hoo! My improvement comment is to form a band... This will be difficult with my odd musical tastes... After all the last band went rather wrong...
2. I kind of want to jump out of an aeroplane. After hearing about Clazz's jump it sounds rather fun... Who wants to join me!?!?!?
3. I have a German oral exam tommorrow. Fun. One day left of school until study leave and exams. Brilliant!
4. I wonder if band will be on tommorrow... My report says that I should participate in band more often... I go every week, what else am I supposed to do?!?!? I bet the production takes over as usual though. I have never heard Queen songs sung as badly as the people taking part in this production are singing them.
5. Art Brut's new album is wonderfully great! Todays blog title is one of the lyrics from it... I love Art Brut. I think I might have to have a daily rant about some random band...

Wednesday, 13 June 2007

Jenno's 2 daily bullet points.

1. Cold tomato soup is better than hot tomato soup. To quote Hesso:
"oooh tomato soup is the best... As it contains... Nothing but tomatoes!"
I liked this.
2. I havn't done anything today. I struggled with bullet point one, and I can't even do bullet point 2. Oh well. Maybe I can do the full bullet points tommorrow.

Tuesday, 12 June 2007

Oooops!

Ooops! I forgot to update for two days! *Shock horror!*
So here's what I've been doing over the last few days... (Not much!)

1. On Sunday I went to Portobello Road. I ended up buying 9 promo CD's for £3. I looked through tons of vinyl buy couldn't find any Clash stuff that I don't have... This is getting depressing... I may have to move onto another band...
2. On Monday I had a Geography exam. It was alright. All I had to do was spend an hour and 45 minutes answering questions on Antarctica. Easy. Now hopefully I did well...
3. I'm addicted to The Stereophonics. Their album, Word Gets Around is a masterpiece. I'm probobly the only person I know who thinks this. I don't think I know anyone else who even slightly likes them! Oh well... Their all mind! Mwahahahaha.
4. We go on study leave next week. Yay! I won't see so many screaming idiots for 2 weeks - And even when i will see them we will be in an exam so they won't be saying anything! Brilliant!
5. Noise making time. I think I'll play the Telecaster today... Its been neglected a little since the arrival of the Strat...

Reversing scooters.

1. I watched a DVD on The Clash earlier. The Clash - Up close and Personal. Lots of Johnny Green, Robin Banks, Ray Lowry, Kris Needs and Chris Salewicz talking. It also had some very nice clips of The Clash playing live. Brilliant.
2. Later on I visited Pro Music, played the Acoustic Telecaster as usual. Then picked up a 12 string to see what my GCSE solo performing piece would sound like on it. It sounded good. Now I just need to find someone who will lend me a 12 string for Thursday... So far it looks like I'm going to be playing it on a normal 6 string!!!
3. I had a very nice walk nearly all the way home listening to The Stereophonics - Word Gets Around album. I love that album. I enjoyed it muchly. Then when I was nearly home my Dad saw me and picked me up. We went to my Nans.
4. My Nan complained a lot. But then she normally does. She told me all about how she has to draw every single one of her curtains at night because of all the lights. I thought everyone drew the curtains anyway. I then had to go outside and look at and smell her roses. Each one had a story behind it. The flowers were all red. I was told that most were meant to be purple or white but something had gone wrong. Weird.
5. She then let me have a go on her old people scooter thing!!!! I'm crap at turning around. But I've never reversed anything before in my life so I'm not supposed to be good at it am I?
I whizzed it around the garden for a while then parked it again. Fun. I'll be riding a proper 50cc scooter in January anyway... Mwahahaha.

Tommorrow I'm going to Portobello Road with Jenni. Woo. I havn't been to Camden lately... Maybe I'll go there on my own when I next sneak off... I think I need a new Clash t-shirt before I go on holiday... You can never have too many of those. I havn't seen my London Calling or White Riot t-shirts around lately... I wonder where they've gone...

Oasis.

1. The free White Stripes single with the NME is rather good. This amazes me as I don't normally like them. It has the usual bad drumming etc but theres definitely something I like about it...
2. I got 19/20 on the P3 practice test. Brilliant. Now hopefully I can do that well on the B3 and C3 parts of the test on the real thing...
3. Everyone chucked chocolate at me today! Amy gave me 5 bags of mini haribo for letting her borrow my Doc Marterns, Kayley gave me cake at lunch time andMr Aldridge gave me a kit kat! Brilliant.
4. Tesco Value noodles rock. And they only cost 8p! Brilliant! Maybe I should live on Pie and Noodles...
5. I dropped a guitar pick in a practice room today. Me and Kayley spent ages looking for it. It didn't turn up. I don't know why we even bothered looking really. Shortley after this, I bring up Oasis for some reason. Kayley didn't know who they are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She worries me sometimes!

I wish I had a mango tree...

1. The Science exam was ok. Not good. Not bad. Somewhere inbetween. At least it was 45 minutes where I didn't have to talk to anyone!! Althought the "what did you write for the questions about blah?" talk afterwards really annoys me.
2. The itunes single of the weeks have been rather good lately. A song meantioning mango tree's has to be good!
3. Nobody wants a Frappachino. Which is probobly good. All I know about them is that they have all the benefits of a cold drink but with a caffine boost...
4. Everything annoyed me today. I didn't even enjoy my guitar lesson - I was in a really bad mood by that point which only got worse! First of all by having to play The Arctic Monkeys - That song about the sun. I've never actually heard it before. I dispised every AM song that I heard before that one so never listened to it. Little Man Tate rule over The Arctic Monkeys...
The I went to Food Tech where I had to do computery things and the automatic numbering thing annoyed me then I did it all wrong. I cheered up some time during lunch time after playing an acoustic guitar as violently as possible.
5. I want a very cheap guitar to take apart. I missed a deal last night on ebay. £10 for a strat copy with a little amp. That would have been perfect! Oh well... Something else will come up...

Wednesday, 6 June 2007

Popemobile!

1. I have now decided what to make for my food tech coursework which is on vegetarians. Vegetarian pie. What else? Pasta is crap compared to pie... Plus if I make pie I get to eat it... Brilliant!
2. I finally found my calculator. I remembered where I put it after I remembered that I took it (and more or less everything else) apart and put it back together again. It still works. So everything is good.
3. I've changed my mind now - again. For my GCSE solo performing I am now playing Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here... Now if only I had a 12 string guitar... But I havn't. So I'll play it on a 6 string. I'll have changed my mind by tommorrow anyway.
4. I today discovered that The Pope has a Popemobile. I never knew this before. Of course, I found this absolutely hilarious! I had to google it after the lady meantioned it on the radio news, it looks ridiculous. But fancy calling it a Popemobile!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
5. I think its Die Toten Hosen time. Goos for a laugh. Plus their really good. And fun. No idea what their saying. Thats half of the fun!

Pie.

1. Today we planned our route for the next Duke Of Edinburgh camping expedition. I'm dreading it already. How can I get out of it?
2. I can't wait until the Isle Of Wight... Me and Jess are going to watch The Mighty Boosh and play around with guitars... Brilliant! Thats my idea of a holiday!!
3. I had pie for tea. Is there a single food in the whole world that is better than pie? I don't think so. Pie is the best.
4. Jenni makes the best chocolate brownies in the world ever. Jeeennnniiiii? Will you make more? :D
5. I forgot to comment on the people in school yesterday... Their still screaming idiots. I didn't expect anything different. Still annoying though.

Monday, 4 June 2007

Good morning heres the news...

1. Yes my signed Carbon/Silicon stuff arrived. Brilliant! Ignore Alien Orders is very good... I had already heard all the other songs on teh CD so already knew that they were good... *Thumbs up to C/S*
2. In PE I did nothing but walk around the track. Well, I ran 2 short distances! Anyway at the end of the lesson she asked me if I wanted a bad PE report. I told her that I didn't care - why should I? PE means nothing anyway... She then gave me the 'Why PE is good' lecture. Boring.
3. I've changed my mind over what to play for my GCSE solo performing yet again. I'm now back on The Beatles idea and have decided on In My Life. All I have to learn for that is the lovely Electric Piano solo...
4. It was out last Geography lesson today before the DME exam on Monday... The most exciting thing about Antarctica still seems to be the Penguins!!!
5. I've just downloaded Topper Headons solo album, I was expecting it to be awful. Its different - but I like it!

Milkshake

1. I did some Science revision today. Very boring. But that first proper GCSE exam is on the 7th (I had forgotten as usual) so I had better do some revision...
2. I also have a proper Geography exam on the 11th. I had forgotten about that one too. I wonder where my statement of entry is? June seemed a very long way away when I put it somewhere safe...
3. I got so bored that I went out just to get a chocolate milkshake... I fancied a McDonalds one for some reason... More ice cream like than the ones you get in normal shops... So I missed the bus. Thought that I may aswell walk up Long Lane to the next bus stop as otherwise I would be sitting at the normal one for a very long time. So I waited half an hour for a bus (and the ipod was out of battery...) Got a milkshake and went home... Brilliant.
4. School tommorrow... Boring. And I have PE... My favourite lesson... Not. What excuse shall I use to get out of it this week? 1 year of PE left... Will I make it?
5. I think I want to be a traffic warden. It seems like the perfect job where I can be so miserable that it makes me happy. I would be one of those really evil ones who stands buy the car until its one minuite over the time so I can write the ticket... Most people think I'm mad. They're probobly right.

Orange Squash.

1. Last night, I went with my dad to see one of his friends... This friend is very strange. He hasn't worked in 6 years as he claims to have hurt his shoulder - now he's wondering why their trying to sack him yet again!! He also has long grey hair with bald patches that looks very greasy. Terrifyingly he was wearing a vest and purple (!?) jogging bottoms. Oh dear. Anyway. He asked me what drink I wanted. I said Orange Squash. That was a mistake. For some reason he put hot water in it. Me being me, I didn't say anything. I burnt my tongue on it and it tasted like one of those lemsip cold and flu drink things. Thankfully, him and my dad went into the shed to measure a bike or something - A perfect chance for me to pour most of the drink down the sink! I'm not going to touch Orange Squash for a very long time.
2. I went out today. I've ended up buying the soundtrack for the new Joe Strummer film - The Future Is Unwritten. Horray! Theres also yet another The Clash - The Singles compilation out on monday... That isn't so good... Its more or less the same as the last The Clash - The Singles or The Essential Clash but with different artwork.
3. My signed Carbon/Silicon stuff was dispatched yesterday! Horray! I can't wait for that to arrive! It can take its place on top of my CD shelves along with my Paul stuff...
4. It's too hot. My yearly complaint! I'll be saying this a lot until it finally cools down again in late October!! I also have a heat rash and hayfever. Wonderful.
5. I love that Acoustic Telecaster... Keep me away from it! I mustn't buy it! Yet...

Friday, 1 June 2007

Thumbs Up.

1. Me and Esso played a few more songs today. We got through The Ramones - Blitzkrieg Bop, Generation X - King Rocker, The Lurkers - I Don't Need To Tell Her and... Wait for this Hesso! The Panickers - Flying Away!! (The Panickers are mine and Hesso's internet band...) Fun.
2. After that, I went to the Co-op to cool down a bit. In there some random guy in the queue was amazed that I liked The Clash! We had a chat. He also got a special Jenno thumbs up goodbye!
3. I now know more or less everything about card making. Siobhan's mum likes to talk. I've even seen all the cards that she's made - and who shes going to send them to... *Escapes from the cards.*
4. Fruit Pastilles rock. Although the pack I bought today only had one red one and about six black ones. That sucks.
5. I have some shrinkles to make tonight... When i saw some I just couldn't resist!
